Question words: qué, quién, dónde, cuándo, cómo

Question words carry an accent: qué (what), quién (who), dónde (where), cuándo (when), cómo (how), por qué (why), cuánto (how much).

Questions open with ¿ and close with ?.

The question word goes first and the verb usually comes next: ¿Dónde vives? ¿Cómo te llamas?

Without the accent, que and como are other words: "that" and "like / I eat".

Pattern: ¿ + question word + verb ... ?
