This, that, these, those
This / these are near you, that / those are farther away. These and those are plural.
Singular: this book, that car. Plural: these books, those cars.
They can stand alone: What is this? I like that.
That is also used for things just mentioned: That's great!
Pattern: this / that / these / those (+ noun)

this/these 指近处（这），that/those 指远处（那）；these/those 是复数。
单数：this book（这本书），that car（那辆车）。
